2020 Infiniti QX60 vs 2020 Volvo XC90: More Flexibility, More Room, Less Cost

2020 Infiniti QX60 vs 2020 Volvo XC90: More Flexibility, More Room, Less Cost

The QX60 is a mid-size luxury crossover that feels big to your family. It features seven-passenger seating, versatility, abundant safety technology, and other practical amenities. It's a fantastic SUV when you have a busy lifestyle, but also when you want to go in style.

With several competitors in the segment, it's important to know how the QX60 compares. Here, we match it up with the Volvo XC90 for a head-to-head comparison.

The 2020 Infiniti QX60 is a premium SUV with the right price

The QX60's starting MSRP of $51,205 is practically $10,000 less than the XC90's entry price of $61,250. For comparison, the QX60 Proactive AWD—the top model in the lineup—features an MSRP of just under $62,000. This model includes all advanced interior systems, a Bose 15-speaker system, a full safety suite, and more amenities than we can list here.

The 2020 Infiniti QX60 has a roomier and more versatile interior

The QX60 opens up the interior with a generous 2,158 litres of cargo volume behind the front seats. This exceeds the maximum capacity of the XC90 by over 300 litres, about the capacity of many sedan trunks. When passengers are added to the middle row and the third row is folded, the QX60 boasts 1,147 litres of volume behind the middle row. The XC90 peaks at 1,008 litres in the same configuration.

The QX60's front seats feature 1,034 mm of headroom and a generous 1,532 mm of shoulder room. The Volvo has respective measurements of 988 mm and 1466 mm, small for a family SUV. In the middle row, the QX50 features 1,059 mm of leg room and 1,534 mm of shoulder room, once again more generous than the XC90's 940 mm and 1,435 mm. The QX60 also exceeds the XC90 in third row head and shoulder room.

The 2020 Infiniti QX60 simplifies engine selection

Each QX60 includes a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre six-cylinder engine that produces 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The Volvo carries three engines in their lineup, and the QX60's engine falls in the middle of the performance range of the lineup.

The 2020 Infiniti QX60 is a more stylish and luxurious SUV than the XC90, with more space to boot. You can shop for your car online with us. Our representatives are waiting for your call and can answer all your questions.
