Infiniti QX60 finishes first in J.D. Power's APEAL study

J.D. Power is known for the many studies it conducts annually on vehicles throughout the industry. One of the most interesting is the APEAL (Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout) study, which measures owner satisfaction after 90 days behind the wheel of a new vehicle.

In all, some 40 points are analyzed in 10 categories, including driving, quality of finish, user-friendliness of the multimedia system, ease of getting in and out, etc. Consequently, when a model finishes in first place, it means that it really satisfies its buyers more than any other.

And the Infiniti QX60 has had no trouble doing that. Since the current generation arrived on the market, it's been touted; now it's been recognized by independent experts as proof that this model has truly become a must-have in the mid-size luxury SUV category.

Of course, that's no surprise to us, because we know all about the QX60's qualities. Of course, there's the 3.5-litre V6 engine under the hood, a model of power and efficiency. The included safety equipment is also impressive with blind spot and rear cross-traffic alerts, as well as front-end collision and lane departure warnings. Inside, the seats are heated, as is the steering wheel, and all the necessary connectivity features are included such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A panoramic roof, a tailgate that deploys automatically, a high-quality audio system, an easy-to-use and reliable media system, an exceptionally smooth ride, impressive soundproofing, everything about the QX60 is appealing.

It's easy to see why J.D. Power's study crowned it the best mid-size luxury SUV on the market after analyzing this vehicle.
