New 2022 Infiniti QX60 will tow 6,000 pounds

Infiniti is about to unveil a brand-new QX60 to the market and among the many changes expected, a significant jump in towing capacity is expected. Infiniti says the new QX60 will be able to tow up to 6,000 pounds on many versions, a 20 percent increase over the current QX60.

This is made possible by a new 9-speed automatic paired to the award-winning and long-lasting 3.5-litre V6 engine that delivers proven performance and impressive refinement.

Infiniti has put a lot of work into testing the new 2022 Infiniti QX60, specifically testing towing capability. The Japanese luxury automaker understands that buyers in this segment often need a vehicle that isn’t afraid of towing.

“The all-new INFINITI QX60 was designed to exceed expectations and perform not only with poise, but also power,” said INFINITI’s General Manager, Product Strategy and Planning Eric Rigaux. “The uprated towing capacity gives families the confidence to get where they want to be, without having to leave the things they need behind.”
